Laurie Klotzbach Curtis - President

In 2007, Laurie started 1620 Associates to offer her political, grassroots, and communications consulting expertise to a wide range of clients including small businesses, associations, and political candidates. Prior to starting her own firm, she worked as the Director of Governmental Affairs for the Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island Credit Union Leagues. Laurie also served as the Assistant State Director of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), a small business trade association, and as Legislative Assistant to Rep. Vinny deMacedo (R-Plymouth). In addition, she taught several government courses as an adjunct political science instructor at Bridgewater State College and Suffolk University.

Laurie received a master’s degree in political science from Brown University and a bachelor’s degree in history and English from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
